Adult Social Programs

Tuesdays 3:30-5:00 PM (May-June 2024)

From: 18

This section of social programs will provide a relaxed environment where adults can partake in activities that promote social connection. This will include discussions on topics relevant to our participants, movie nights, game nights, and karaoke. The aim is to build confidence in their connections, personal development, general well-being, and most of all promote friendship. This social program is best for participants that can navigate activities and discussions more independently.

Friendship Circle staff cannot provide bathroom support, behavioral intervention, or 1:1 supervision or support. The ratio for the Adult Social Programs is 1 staff or volunteer to 5 participants. If a participant typically requires 1:1 support, we will ask that the family provide the 1:1 support person. Friendship Circle does not currently have 1:1 volunteers for this age group. We are actively working to expand our adult volunteer pool. If you have questions about the level of support that you or your participant needs and what our staff and volunteers can provide, please contact [email protected].

Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 PM (May-June 2024)

From: 18

This section of social programs will provide our adult participants with social opportunity, as well as tangible skills that can help them to build independence. These will be more workshop oriented events - such as a yoga class, craft night, field trips, and more! The aim for these events is to foster personal growth, independent thinking, and collaboration. This social program is great for participants of all support levels.
