End the Awkward: How we should react to someone with a Disability

Scope is a London-based company aiming to make the UK a place where  people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else. They provide support, information, and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year. They also focus on raising awareness of the issues that matter.

The New Campaign

According to an Opinium Poll this year, “30% of disabled people have been stared at because of their disability”. Life may be full of awkward moments, but having different abilities should not be the cause. That is why Scope has created a humorous, light-hearted ad campaign entitled “End the Awkward.” It highlights the awkward moments that take place around different disabilities and sheds some light on how we should react.  It’s so simple to just end the awkward!
