One Dollar For Friendship

At the close of each calendar year, The Friendship Circle launches a campaign called the “$1 For Friendship” campaign. We respectfully call upon our community to consider giving a small contribution of $1- adding up to a substantial community donation. The large donation that results from the $1 For Friendship campaign sustains the 15 weekly recreational and educational programs in which 3,000 individuals with special needs, 900 volunteers and 169 schools participate in each year. What I find most beautiful about The Friendship Circle is how our roots are composed of thousands of individual community members, who come together to support this organization from the ground up. That is also why the $1 For Friendship campaign is one of my favorite. This campaign has no minimum donation and no pressure to make a large donation. We simply ask for $1 so that our community can once again pull together and ensure that The Friendship Circle continues to serve thousands of individuals with special needs. Please consider taking 2 minutes out of your day to donate $1 to The Friendship Circle. If you can give more than $1, we ask you to consider giving $1 a month ($12), $1 a week ($52) or $1 a day ($365 or monthly installments of $30).
