[Update: Get the 2014 Edition of the Special Needs Awareness Calendar Here]  If you watch the news, listen to the radio, surf the web, or read any number of blogs you are guaranteed to come across an awareness day or two. Every day of the year has some type of awareness day or week, some as banal as Potato Awareness week and other dates which are much more significant, such as Breast Cancer Awareness Day. In the special needs community there are also some very important awareness days and months. Some of these dates are well known while others are not. In an effort to bring awareness to these dates and the correlating condition, we have created the Special Needs Awareness Calendar. Below you will find a graphic that displays a listing of all of the special needs awareness dates divided by seasons. Feel free to share this post with anyone who would appreciated a special needs awareness calendar. If there is a condition or syndrome that we have left out of this graphic please let us know and we will try and update the image.
