About Friendship Circle
Friendship Circle.
On Sundays and after school teen volunteers are paired up with individuals that have special needs. Together they participate in one of Friendship Circle's 30 weekly programs. In the summer months Friendship Circle offers summer camps and a number of other fun activities. Teen volunteers and individuals with special needs come together to develop real friendships and participate in one of 30 after school programs.

Lessons for Life fills the gap between classroom learning and real world experiences by teaching life skills using a 5,000 square-foot, true-to-life cityscape. This gives students the opportunity to confidently assume responsibility and independence in the outside world. The Farber Soul Center is a new facility that will expand Friendship Circle's programs into the lives of adults with special needs through the culinary, digital and traditional arts. Complete with a cafe, gallery and art studios, young adults will be able to learn crucial vocational skills, harness their creativity and create beautiful pieces of art.
