The Purple People Are Here! [Video]

Purple PeopleWhat Are Purple People?

Warning to all Metro Detroiters! Purple People are on the loose and invading events in a town near you. This silly, strange looking group of people are catching the attention of the community in a creative effort to spread awareness about the Friendship Circle.
But don’t laugh at their appearance too much, because here is the kicker: the Purple People are modeled after YOU, our supporters, volunteers and families. That’s right, this campaign was inspired by the idea that all people who join the Friendship Circle and experience the love of children with special needs are forever transformed into more tolerant, patient and loving people. Therefore, our supporters leave their “purple imprint” wherever they go. The Purple People campaign will be housed on the “Purple People” tab on our Facebook page. If you happen to spot a Purple Person around town, take a picture of them and post it on our Facebook page. All submissions will receive the super-cool “I See Purple People” sunglasses.Purple People sunglasses
Just recently, we caught the Purple People in action around town, so make sure to check out the video above and share it with your friends. You have been warned, so watch your back…you never know where a Purple Person is going to show up next!
