Five years ago, the Farber Soul Center opened for the first time thanks to the generosity of the Farber Family, the Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation and the other generous donors who participated in the campaign.
The William and Audrey Farber Family allowed Friendship Circle to develop the Farber Soul Center dream by being a partner in an ongoing matching campaign to raise funds for the project. Many community families and foundations stepped up to meet their challenge.
Additionally, through a generous grant from the Dresner Foundation, we were able to include the studio and art program.
Bill Farber once said that the reason the Jewish community comes to Soul Cafe is that it truly feeds their souls. When Soul Cafe reopens in April 2021, you’ll find Bill’s Blintzes on the new menu, which were his favorite.
Thank you, Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation, Farber Family and everyone who helped to make this dream a reality.
