Pnina Schloss – Testimonial

Pnina Schloss, a current undergraduate student at Binghamton University, volunteered with Friendship Circle for a number of years. When asked about the impact Friendship Circle has made in her life, Pnina shared, “I was a political science major and was not confident about what I wanted to do with my life. I was also not as confident in myself and my abilities. Friendship Circle led me to the path in life I am meant to take. Due to my experiences at Friendship Circle, I changed my major and am now following a path of education that I am passionate about and can see myself doing for the rest of my life.” With all these amazing experiences, we asked Pnina if she could name one of her favorites. She replied, “Honestly too many to count.” Friendship Circle is just “an all-inclusive place where anyone is welcome and will be met with friendship and love.” Even with a busy school schedule at college, Pnina knows that Friendship Circle will always be a second home. “ Any time I come home, I know I can always come back to visit and I will be greeted by literally everyone. I always know that I am coming home to another family made up of the staff, participants, and volunteers.” Finally, we asked Pnina, if she could sum up Friendship Circle with three words what would they be? “Family, growth, and positivity.”
