Social Camp is an innovative four week program that will combine learning critical social skills with a traditional, fun camp experience.

Activities Include:

• Swimming Instruction
• Field trips around Metro Detroit
• Competitive Sports
• Arts and Crafts
• Nature Activities
• Drama / Music
• Outdoor Living

Dates: July 23 - August 17
Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Participants: Children ages 8-12 (siblings are welcome)
Sessions: Session 1: July 23-August 3 Session 2: August 6 - August 17

Camp Fees For Members:
For first child:$500 per session or $800 for both sessions
Each additional child: $400 per session or $700 for both sessions

Camp Fees For Non-Members:
For first child:$600 per session or $1,000 for both sessions
Each additional child: $500 per session or $900 for both sessions

Requirements:
Camp will follow a traditional camp format of campers being divided into groups/bunks based on age. Camp will have high staff to camper ratios but will not be providing one on one volunteers/staff for the campers.

Please Note: In order to accommodate as many children as possible we ask that you do not sign up for summer camp if you are participating in social camp.You may join a waiting list by emailing bayla@friendshipcircle.org

Camp requires that participants are:

1. Interested in participating in competitive sports, but need guidance and support in understanding teamwork
2. Enjoy group activities, but need to develop improved interpersonal relationships
3. Able to participate in a group activity for at least 25 minutes
4. Able to participate in group discussions for at least 25 minutes
