Inclusion Revolution: How You Can Help Spread The Word

Everyone in this world was created different. No two people are alike (even identical twins!)

Think about it…. there are over 7 Billion people in this world and not one of them is alike. You would think there would be a few duplicates here and there. The reason that G-d created one person differently than the next is because each one of us has a unique job in this world to accomplish. Individuals with special needs are just as different as everyone else in this world; they also have a job to accomplish.

At Friendship Circle we are continuously working to raise awareness for including individuals with special needs. To further our mission of inclusion we have launched a new campaign called Inclusion Revolution!

About Inclusion Revolution

blog-ir-current

Inclusion Revolution is a T-Shirt campaign that raises awareness and promotes the inclusion of individuals with special needs in our society.IR Shirts are designed to stand out and encourage friends, family and even strangers to ask questions about your shirt. Each shirt is designed to share the message of inclusion and our responsibility as a society to include individuals with special needs.

About The Logo

blog-ir-and

When thinking about a logo for Inclusion Revolution we were looking for something simple that could be identified with inclusion. Nothing says it better than the ampersand.  By definition & or “AND” means you are including  or adding something (in our case someone) to make a group

You Decide The Next Shirt

blog-ir-vote

Every two weeks a new shirt is launched at inclusionrevolution.org. Friendship Circle will show you two shirts and you will be able to vote for the next shirt that we should launch. The shirt with the most votes will be available for purchase. All new shirts will be available for a discounted price of $20 when featured (the first two weeks of shirt launch). Afterwards shirts will be available for $25

Where The Money Goes

In addition to the campaign to raise awareness and spread the message of inclusion that the t-shirt provides, funds raised from the sale of t-shirts will go towards funding Friendship Circle’s Inclusion Programs.

Inclusion Programs:

Friendship Circle offers a range of inclusive programs that provide the opportunity for children teens and young adults to be paired up with a neuro-typical child for over 25 activities together. One of those programs are inclusion sports league where children with and without special needs join together to participate in Basketball and Hockey Leagues.

Upstander:

blog-ir-upstand
Upstander is an anti-bullying program that is designed to focus on prevention and intervention. This is primarily accomplished through engaging high-school students in a conversation about negative social behaviors that lead to bullying in their schools and teaching them how to effectively intervene in deteriorating social situations.
