9 Special Needs Organizations already on Google+
On November 7th Google+ opened it's doors to Organizations, companies and non-profits with Google+ Pages. Much like Facebook Pages, Google+ Pages gives non-profits a platform they can use to share and connect with their friends and supporters. Google+ also gives non profits the ability to reach out to potential new supporters and followers as well. Google+ is still in its infancy and there are still many questions about how Google+pages will evolve (see Mashable's article: Google+ Brand Pages Are the “Wild West”– for Now and Fast Company's: The Power Potential Of Google+ Pages For Businesses and Will Google+ Pages Quit Flirting And Get Down To Business?). Here at Friendship Circle of Michigan we have started to tinker with our Google+ Page. We are also eager to connect with other Special Needs Google+ Pages and learn and share with each other. After a quick look around we have come up with a eight special needs organizations that are already on Google+. If you know of any more that have joined please share in the comments!

5. National Wheelchair Basketball Association
Providing individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to play, learn and compete in the sport of wheelchair basketball.
